Two New Festivals
Two more festivals to announce! I already mentioned that we get to be part of New York Indian Film Festival on May 9, but now we have two more great festivals just in time for Asian Pacific Awareness Month (the month of May). Super-stoked and honored to be part of all these!
First up is the Academy Award-qualifying Los Angeles Asian Pacific Festival which is held May 3-12, 2018. Now in its 34th year, "Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival has presented nearly 5,000 films, videos, and digital mediaworks by Asian international and Asian Pacific American artists, and additionally features seminars and panels, in-person guest appearances, and filmmaker awards. The Film Festival continues to be the largest festival of its kind in Southern California and is the premier showcase for the best and brightest of Asian Pacific American and international cinema." Next up is CAAMfest, now in its 36th year, taking place in San Francisco. It is the world's largest showcase for Asian American film, food and music. Taking place from May 10-24, 2018, Khol will be screening on May 15. Click this link to buy tickets!
